We’re Taylor and Daniel Malsch—high school sweethearts turned parents of three, living and working in Charleston, SC. Lane Brooks Homes was built out of something we’ve shared for years: a love of creating spaces that are both beautiful and practical. Renovating homes has always been part of our relationship—long before it became our business. Daniel learned the trade directly from Taylor’s dad, a lifelong carpenter and contractor. Over time, what started as hands-on learning turned into years of experience, and eventually a vision of running a business rooted in quality, honesty, and family values. Taylor brings the creative direction and design eye behind each project, making sure every space we touch is both intentional and livable. Daniel is the one in the field, showing up on-site, handling the work, and making sure every detail is done right. Together, we’ve built Lane Brooks Homes as a way to serve families like ours—ones who want thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship, and people they can actually trust in their home.
